Programs:
At Soccer FITT, we design programs that are
both age appropriate and within their fitness capability. We design
programs for individuals, small groups, and entire teams. These sessions
include speed, agility, quickness, power, endurance, flexibility, core
strength, etc. Usually, the smaller the group the more intense the
workout. Larger groups participate in the same athletic conditioning but
the strengthening progression takes a bit longer. This is primarily due
to the athletes' varied stages of athleticism.
We offer preseason sessions and these can range from
every day for a week or two weeks prior to the start of a season, to two or
three days in a single week. These sessions can be designed to the needs of the
team, and fined-tuned to what the coaches want.
Often, after the season starts the fitness is often abandoned.
We strongly recommend a maintenance program once a week, or at least once
every two weeks. The sessions will help maintain their speed, agility, power,
etc. and help prevent injury. Since youth soccer has pretty much become
year-round, there is sometimes no off-season with which to START a program. If
this is the case, we recommend starting and working into a routine slowly.
These programs can be extremely beneficial for female
athletes. Since female athletes are more prone to ACL injuries, we have a
female strengthening program that focuses on strengthening the connective
tissue and small muscles in the knees and ankles; this is called
neuromuscular training. Studies show this kind of training can significantly
reduce knee, ankle and hip injuries in female athletes.
We also design programs for any multidirectional sport
which include lacrosse, field hockey, basketball, tennis, etc. Any of these
sports athletes will benefit from this sort of training.
Claudia offers in home personal training
and massage therapy to soccer moms and dads.
At Soccer FITT, our hours are flexible to accommodate your
practice schedules. We make things easy by coming to
your practice field, usually before or after your practice. This is so the
team can fitness train together and to reduce scheduling conflicts.
